To Ensure Tasks Inherit Work Order Behaviors
Although tasks and
work orders can behave differently, from time to time you might want to ensure
that when work orders are converted to tasks, the tasks inherit the same
behaviors as did the work orders before the conversion into tasks.
Follow these steps to ensure that tasks behave in the same manner as historical work orders.
- In System Administration, expand Classes & Attributes node, and then expand the Tasks node in the tree.
- Create a task.
- Ensure that the Type is set to User Defined.
- Expand the Extended Behavior topic, and then select Legacy Work Order Behavior. For example,
- Save the task.
